In the beginning....

Hello and welcome to my blog!  I am Rae.  A mother of 2, ages 12 and 8, I work FT, go to school PT and try to fit in fun, love and laughs as much as I can in between.   This is my first attempt at creating a blog and I decided to name it “~ 50 Shades of Rae ~”.  No correlation to the book – I simply thought the name was cute as well as a reference to my personality…bright, busy, diverse, creative, cute, etc…etc!  (Kinda corny, I know...BUT this is the name and I am sticking to it.)  I have wanted to start a blog for a few years now but I have such a busy schedule and I was a little undecided about the direction I should go.  I also felt like I just didn't have the time to dedicate to the blog the way I have envisioned so I put the idea on pause...up until NOW.  I am currently enrolled in my 5th quarter in college and my Professor in my Sociology class decided to have the students start a blog.  It seems like perfect timing to start on a new chapter in life, work on another goal and hopefully earn  an “A” in my class. (hint, hint)  So here I am!

On my blog I plan to touch on various topics that are in MY eyes important, funny, sad, frustrating or simply something new to me!  I can be quite random at times so whatever may be on my mind I will speak about it!  I believe that there is something to be learned from every one and every situation…so overall I just hope that this touches the hearts, minds or even funny bones of the reader’s that reads it!  I hope in some form of fashion I can help brighten your day, enlighten you, support and encourage you or flat out make you laugh at some of the silly ideas that cross my mind.  It is all in fun and love!  Oooh -  feel free to provide questions, topics and feedback anytime.  I am always here to listen, learn and grow so your outlook is important.

Until then…make it a great day…EVERYDAY!!

    1. Well the requirements were to set up a blog on blogspot. I probably would've chosen something different as well.
